SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
I.S.O. Acquires aisk.org
Montreal, Canada
April 1, 2003
International Schools Organization (I.S.O.) today announced the acquisition
of aisk.org - the latest addition to the organization's growing collection
of International school alumni Web sites.
Web sites providing online alumni communities like aisk.org provide popular
information and services which companies including I.S.O. believe people are
willing to pay for. Industry analysts are predicting that this market
segment of the Internet is poised to take off and evolve into a major
Internet industry.
I.S.O. plans to complete the integration of aisk.org into its operations by
the end of the month. A small section of the aisk.org Web site will
continue to be available to the general public for free, while a significant
portion of the Web site will only be available to paid subscribers.
Subscription price has not yet been set by I.S.O. at the time of this
announcement. However, a company representative confirmed that individuals
already registered in the aisk.org directory will be offered undisclosed
discounts for a limited time period.
Mr. Geronimo (the current Webmaster and publisher of aisk.org) will
continue his responsibilities during the transition period. After the
completion of the transition, Mr. Geronimo will relinquish his operational
responsibilities to I.S.O.'s Internet publishing experts and he will join
the company's Board of Directors.
"I have been publishing aisk.org as a hobby since 1995, and now it's time to
turn it over to professionals who have the expertise to take this Web site
to the next level. I think that my fellow Scorpions and regular visitors will be happy with the
many improvements planned for this Web site." - Mr. Geronimo
"The members of the board and I are looking forward to working with Mr.
Geronimo. The aisk.org Web site exemplifies the quality and value which are
very important to the company." - M. Morillon, I.S.O. Chairman
I.S.O. (a privately held company) and Mr. Geronimo did not disclose the
terms of acquisition.
